Grateful Sunday #92: Global Warmth

Climate change may not perhaps be an “imminent” threat, but the shortsighted human response of being ‘reactive’ versus being ‘proactive’ is going to majorly set us back as a race (as it has throughout history), if not eventually lead to our downfall.

ANYWAY, on to happier thoughts: I went for an outdoors run in shorts & an athletic t-shirt this afternoon.  A WEEK INTO DECEMBER. Yeah, I’m OK with this. Especially as I seem to be looming closer and closer to certifiable Seasonal Depression with each passing year.

Also, for the first time in about a week, I actually feel *fully rested.*  The unfortunate part is that it took me the entire weekend to get there and it’s now Sunday night aka time to repeat the whole process, but I am grateful to not feel so #exhausted. From what I understand about parenthood, this is pretty much how it goes 24/7, for at least several years.

Kids are great, but so is sleep. Cherishing the uninterrupted while it lasts.

  1. Love the caffeine quote. Now I must succumb to those symptoms.
