Space Diary: Exceptional

Exceptional times propel exceptional people to the top.  When things are restored to “normal” these same people are locked up or eliminated.  This is a sine wave rhythm.

The natural order of a system.  A problem produces a solution produces a resolution produces the status quo…in which there is no room for all the extra solutions, because those problems have been solved!

Society works like this, too.  Churn, chew, spit.  We use things until they are no longer useful.

This includes people. Especially when there are underlying political motivations. Capitalism is great, but also terrible.

I think, then, that I don’t wish to ever reach any real level of “fame.”  I don’t need that pressure in my life.
