How We Do

“It’s not what you do — it’s how you do it.”  We’ve all no doubt heard this adage, or some iteration of it.

Is it true?

I think it depends on “you.”  Basically, is your “A game” really your A game?  It’s no secret that some people are simply just naturally gifted, while others struggle with personal disabilities — be they mental, physical, emotional, what have you.  But exemplary work ethic may be a universal language.

If you struggle but put forth your best foot no matter how grave the adversity, then who could fault you?  Anyone who is dismissive of honest, hard work is a fool in my book.

Furthermore, the more tenacity you dedicate to your craft, the more it becomes ingrained within as a personality trait.  Tenacity, enthusiasm, determination, tranquility, strength, humility, observation, empathy, courage.  If you can find ways to demonstrate these desirables in your work, no matter what it is that you do…you will find recognition somewhere along the way.

Be a f*cking rockstar, and feel good about it.  Passion is contagious and often breeds inspiration.  Be that for yourself, and others will find it in you, too.
