Tried something a little different tonight — hit the gym, then FOLLOWED UP with a run.  Why?  It’s not that crazy.  I’ve been neglecting both, and I just borrowed momentum from working through a straight 9 in the office to keep it moving.

An object in motion stays in motion.  A successful recovery program yields successful life programs.  Could I manage the above kind of day were I hitting the sauce on the side?

Despite how ‘busy’ I am, I also feel like I’m available.  Available to help; available to give my undivided attention.  Considering my 180° flip over the past few years, it’s really, really rewarding to be dependable, reliable, grounded, and steadfast for the people in my life who were those things and more to me, for so many years.

You only get to keep what you give back.  Grateful for the opportunity to learn & practice.

Keep me running.
