Robots Making More Robots

After months (years, nearly) of dawdling, I finally upgraded my smartphone today.

It’s interesting how a piece of computing hardware/software that I ostensibly rely on more than any other material possession in my life also tends to most test the limits of my patience.  It’s equally why I have yet to make real progress in teaching myself how to produce software-based music — too much an investment of time with too high a learning curve at the onset.

Today’s zen: be smarter — nay, wiser — than the artificial intelligence.  Robots are probably going to be a credible threat to humanity someday (#Hollywood #singularity #ImNotAConspiracyNutISwear), so regardless how much we believe we “need” them, let’s remember: they are, indeed, robots.

If the digital world is causing a trauma to your psyche, break free from it & nurture an honest human emotion or connection.
Whether through your own thoughts or those of another, the response you get will feel more meaningful & more substantial than waiting at the edge of The Screen’s Abyss for a series of pixels to make you feel some type of way (counter-intuitive for a blogger to make so bold a claim; #grateful I’m not trying to earn a living here).
