I skirted my workout regimen this week in favor of rest/relaxation/reaching into the cookie jar.
I think it says a lot about my program & my progress that what I can’t wait to do finally, on a Friday night, after a hellish week…is go for a run.
It’s great for my sanity. Always that mind/body/soul trifecta. I’m not as attentive to it as I could be; it’s probably because the ‘easiest’ thing is also rarely the ‘healthiest.’
Improve your performance in the face of difficult decisions by internalizing your prior successes & not sitting back to rest on your laurels. Occasional pride in your work is acceptable, but too much ego and your cup runneth over.
Now my cup must runneth, period.
