One Thing At A Time

Multitasking is not only useful, but a relied-upon necessity.  If I really truly could only do “one” thing at a time. . .productivity would simply not keep pace with the speed at which life moves.

The trick is that while you may have your hands in many different pies at any given moment. . .you give your full attention to each one, and prioritize the order in which you do that.

Multitasking is futile without proper prioritization to guide the process.

Following closely behind is an acceptance that the lower priorities may get pushed back, out to the periphery, for another day.

If they had any value at all. . .they will be there.  Or there will be other opportunities to collect on them.

Sobriety is always priority numero uno.  Gotta be.  Might have to work a little harder to make the rest of life fall into place around that…but I can deal.

Helluva lot better than the alternative.

First new track in 6 years. Don’t mind if I do.
