Finding Yourself Saying “Wow” Often (and Sincerely) Is a Good Sign

A quick look out the window informs me this will be a mostly rainy Tuesday…which would be the perfect candidate for a morning spent in bed reading, lounging, whatever-ing.

I may not want to go in to work…but at least I don’t have to wake up and think “FUUUUUUU…I hate my job.”
Because I don’t.  Nor do I have to wake up hungover, or late.
And I gotta be pretty grateful for that.

Also gotta be grateful for the breakfast sandwich I just made, consisting of free-range egg, goat cheese, veggie quinoa, and sweet chipotle hot sauce on potato bread toast, with a side of Greek yogurt & a black coffee.  That’s a fine meal right there.

Hoping the weather will break this evening, so that I might survey the Sound from my yacht’s* sweeping deck.
It’s good to be back on top.**

*Disclaimer: by “my yacht,” I mean the power boat of one of the sail squadron’s members who volunteered his vessel for club members to ride on.
**Disclaimer II: not me; someone just said this to me once.

That’s nice right there.
